THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE

June 20 - July 5

Set sail with SVST! Gilbert and Sullivan’s THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE is a hilarious farce, packed full of absurd adventures! Young Frederic, an orphan, has mistakenly been apprenticed to an ineffectual but merry band of pirates. When he falls in love with Mabel, the songbird daughter of ‘the Very Model of a Modern Major General’, comedy ensues as the Pirate King reveals that due to Frederick being born in a leap-year he is technically still a child and therefore cannot leave his post to get married. From silly to sublime, this witty production features song favorites 'I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major General,' 'Poor Wand'ring One,' and 'I Am a Pirate King.' THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE is a guaranteed delight for audiences of every generation!
