 Camp Safety Guidelines

Dear Parents & Families,

The health, well-being, and safety of our SVST campers have always been our first priority. We feel it is important to share with you our efforts in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Some of these changes are quite different from how we have operated our camps in the past, so we encourage each of you to read through the following information and camp protocols carefully.

The camp is located at Eastpoint Church - 15303 E. Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley.

1) CURBSIDE CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:

You’ll be able to drop off your child directly at our entrance and enjoy contactless check-in and out via a table managed by our camp team.

2) LET'S CHECK THE TEMP:

All campers will have their temperature checked each morning using a touchless infrared thermometer. Campers with a fever greater than 100.4° will unfortunately not be admitted to camp that day. We strongly encourage parents and/or guardians to check their

child’s temperature daily before coming to camp.

3) CLEAN HANDS:

Hand-washing will be the first order of business for all campers upon entering the theatre. Our camp directors will also carve out plenty of time each day for campers to wash their hands before and after eating. In addition, hand sanitizer will be provided in all

learning spaces utilized by campers.

4) SQUEAKY CLEAN:

Strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols are being implemented at our camps, including frequent cleaning of any high touch surfaces as well as ongoing sanitizing of all shared spaces.

5) SAFETY IN REDUCED NUMBERS:

We’ve reduced the number of students in each class to a maximum of 14 and will reduce high touch activities as well as shared supplies. These policies have been shaped in alignment with CDC guidelines and we remain ready to adjust how we do things as is necessary. Thanks for your patience and support of SVST! We can’t wait to see you at camp in August!
